Atlantic Immigration

Program Objective

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign nationals and international graduates who want to work and live in one of Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces — Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. Through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, LMIA is not required. Instead, the job offer must be from a designated Canadian employer.

This is an employer-driven program that aims to bring foreign workers to the region to fill labor gaps and fill positions for which Canadian citizens or permanent resident workers are not available.
